Ok so small update

Was talking to a friend of mine who as part of his business obtains and flies aircraft for movies and tv shows.
If you have seen things like Band of Brothers, James Bond or other films or tv shows that have aircraft in them 99% of the time it's something to do with him.

Examples of something's he has worked on

Anyway it turns out that there is a very high possibility that whilst we are there he maybe dropping by in something special for a film he is working on.

Hopefully if it all goes to plan we maybe in for a treat. So keep your fingers crossed.

In terms of what is there is it random, dependent upon what people have flown in? Never been. Also bringing my 2 eldest children (5 and 3) hope the kids menu is ok?!

As always with aircraft it depends on what's out and about at the time and the weather. There is some airshows on that weekend at various other locations so we maybe lucky and get some leaving or arriving.

They do however have a random assortment of WW2 Fighters and Transport aircraft based there as well as vintage jet aircraft and helicopters. In the past we have been lucky and seen lots of good aircraft there as well as some classic cars.

Menus are quite good and there is also a fenced off children's play area.

Menu here

Also some pictures from previous visits.
Not all those aircraft are there any more but there is still plenty based there still.

My daugher has been vomiting for the last few days. She's bounced back which is good but an early start is out of the question. Won't be able to make it for 10. More like 10.30-10.45. Looks like an amazing day for it as well!
