Done a couple of little jobs today, firstly bled the brakes using a forever alone kit with some ATE fluid from @G 172 and also fitted my Pagids thanks to @p@blo

Refitted the plates ready for the MOT/Tax/Insurance whenever I do that, probably not until April though, also refitted the Yaw sensor to stop the ESP shitting itself constantly, dash light is now off :) tided up some cables in the car as well but not really worth taking a picture tbh.

Shitty dark picture of her looking awesome :(

Oh and I also noticed now flimsy my bonnet feels, can literally push it in and out without much effort! The other half's 182's is solid. Cool story I know ;)

Another small job ticked off the list today, changed the oil, filter and gearbox oil:

Glad I kept this, makes filling the gearbox a piece of piss:

Wish I put some gloves on now as im still trying to get rid of that lovely gearbox oil smell :(

Due to removing airbags, pre-tensioners etc my Serv & Airbag light are stuck on, went to @dmallett but had issues connecting his Clip to my ECU, so I removed the Airbag Ecu to send to @GrahamS to reprogram so I can get through the MOT.

Also removed the passengers airbag for completeness:

Once I have this back, going to probably get a replacement Aux belt kit fitted at the MOT as I have abit of a whine when the revs increase and its due anyway, hopefully this isn't the PAS pump but we will see!

Great work, I should really get a thread sorted for mine (not that its race car spec but its track spec).

Removed my headlining yesterday, wish I did this before I sprayed the rear end :( Looks abit of a mess inside now so will need to spray it again probably when the weathers better. Will probably leave the tar above the drivers seat as from looking at other threads and peoples experience getting rid, its more hassle than its worth for 2kg's of weight.

In other news, ordered a Kangoo top mount for the grand sum of £25, along with some shorter wipers and a matt black suntrip as of course ive now lost my sun visors. Also taken delivery of a lambda sensor bung for my de-cat so this should stop my emission's light coming on all being well :)

Cage maybe later in the year, would love a full cage but not sure I can justify the cost of buying and getting it welded in so will probably end up being an eBay rear only jobbie for the time being.

Might also start on a colour theme but do quite like how subtle it looks from the outside at the moment.

I've got a full lightweight pulley set from PMS ;) how easy is it to swap the crank pulley? Need to retime? I want rid of it and want a proper cup setup

Just bought a Cup setup, picking up the Coolant and Belt off Renault at the weekend :)

More than likely because it's been de-cat'd so this will avoid the EML light illuminating...

Just zip tie the downstream lambda under the chassis somewhere out the way

Big thanks to @dmallett for all his help today, well I say help but he did all the work :p Cup setup now fitted!

Whilst at it changed the coolant as well

Took the shitty pointless washer jets off as well

Also found out that my PAS pump is whining badly so need to replace that along with the washer pump as that doesn't work at all which I only found out about when I went to use it today!

Pleasure to help out! Car wasnt bad to work on, nothing seized and I didnt cut myself once. which makes a first!

We will get that pas pump and washer pump changed in no time :)

Oh and epic weight saving today! Do you think it sits higher now? Or was it my drive lol

Think its very slightly higher at the front, couldn't overly notice it but it didn't rub on the way back, although I did stiffen up the shocks before I left.

Exhaust no longer blows, got a garage to change the olive joint bracket for freee! :D

Just a cheapo one off eBay, it's not arrived yet and I won't put it on until after the MOT, but might be crap tbh!

Ordered washer pump, pas pump just attempting to find a cup high pressure pas pipe for completeness!

Looking good!

Does that brake line pump actually work?
Looks like it would easily let air back in the system.

The bleed kit? Has a non return valve if so so no issues there, piece of piss with the kit tbh and the brakes work well.

Single cable tie holds it nice and tight down low, lovely!

Not sure if this was easier because of the lack of extra Xenon ancillaries but it really was a piece of piss to fit it in, im running Depo headlights fyi. I had to re-angle the earth lead for it to be able to fit under the filter, but again no issues there. Went out for a quick drive but my exhaust and the road noise is so loud I have no idea how loud it is! haha.

Also had the tracking done yesterday and my de-cat fitted, not sure I 100% love the sound of the exhaust now, its probably almost doubled in db and sounds very raspy, it will do for now though.

Good evening at Snet minus the three red flag stops, sump gasket leaking abit after my second time out but not enough to drip so can't be to bad!

Car was good in general, seemed quick down the straights compared to others on track apart the mental things out! It wasn't great in the corners though, very bumpy and loosing a lot of time because of it, assume I need to play with my tyre pressure and damping setup and probably some more negative camber!

Took a couple of quick pics in the pits

You guys have got me wanting to go a lot more hardcore with mine! The missus wants a new car so im going to use that to my advantage lol

I actually prefer an uncomfy bouncy car on the road anyway!

If your suspension is adjustable raising the rear might help a little. I notice in the pics your car sits pretty level and not nose down.
