What's actually adjustable on them then?
is it purely the rose joints where they bolt to the subframe, if so I assume you can adjust the depth to/from the arms where they mount?
Surely the only benefit from this is adjustments that can be made for castor?

i designed them and have had a local company make me 4 sets, put them on my track car and noticed better handling, these are alot stronger than standard wishbones,

  Cup In bits
Id like to know more also, is that a spherical on the outer and is that RCA pins on the 2nd set. ARB link looks a little flimsy from pics but they aren't the best pics.

What make are the rose joints? What size are they?

I'd like some but am worried about quality.

When will they be available as I'm ordering some wishbones this week that I might be interested in these for instead but I'm on a tight timescale.

I'll embed the images for you, some higher res ones would be good.

As per my question above, what make and grade are the joints please?

You wouldnt trust me selling you "high quality" tyres without knowing the first thing about them, and if one of those joints fail its going to be worse than any blowout in terms of the chance of you crashing your car as a result.

What guarentee is offered with them, who is the company we are buying from, do they have liability insurance in case one fails?

Ash are you getting the same feeling as me that this guy doesnt know the first thing about suspension and is just interested in flogging a load on for profit without the first clue about them?

Apologies to the OP if that isnt the case, but if it isnt then please can you supply people with the details we are asking for?

rose joints are rated to 5000lbs

What make are they, and what sort of liability insurance and guarentee do the company selling these arms have?

A rollcage knocked up by a hobbyist is one thing, but a set of bottom arms is a VERY safety critical part of a car, its no good if the welds crack in 3 years time due to fatigue induced by transmitting loads and vibrations etc.

For going grass track racing or something like that then fair enough, but for something that might see thousands and thousands of hours of use on a road car, these things are vitally important.

Seen something like these on another forum, they were made from carbon steel apparently. Less than 3000 miles later it had snapped and almost caused him to crash, he got lucky.

But these could be great for all I know.

They need making, putting on a test car, and then driving on the road for a LOT of miles with regular X-rays if people are going to be buying them for road cars IMHO

These were the ones that were around €450 and snapped not long after fitting.

Chip, if you we recall any of the rear beams that Danny B made on the Cossie's, in particular the stage 3 beam as he called it.
these suffered cracking on the arms after hardly any use.

i know they all didn't fail, but a good few did.
Jacko had one fitted, we then went and did a test day at brands prior to a TA round, at the end of the day when we sat back to have a cuppa before loading the car back on board we spotted huge camber to one wheel, when we looked just to see if anything had come loose, one of the arms had a 3" split through it and with the weight of the car held upon it the split was slowly creeping open.

not bad for a £1500 beam and one days use :(

the comparison may not be fair, but from a personal experience it has has me worried when random items suddenly pop up on the market without any checks having been carried out or evidence to prove so.

Kelv, I agree, and the crazy thing is that DannyB is actually someone very well respected and who I would happily trust to fabricate things for me, but road use in particular is VERY savage on welded joints of unsprung components.

^ Especially from an unknown poster who doesn't exactly seem forthcoming with information, specs etc.

Yes it's not a good way to sell them, from my research there is only one material that should be used for the ball joint pin which is why I am keen to know what they are made from if the material I have been told to use then thats a good start :)

i love this quote

i have spend a few thousand pound develping them, getting copyright, licences etc,

not keen on giving all the infomation out at the moment as have had larger company intrested in having the uk licence to sell these.

You have me puzzled here now, why would you be trying to push a product forward but be reluctant to give out information on them?
the make/strength and ability of a rose joint isn't really worth keeping a secret as these could be sourced elsewhere anyhow, but if I were to be buying a product I'd like to know its fit for purpose from the moment I fit it.

Chip, in ref to Danny B, I agree.
i had no problem in handing him my escort to have the cage fabricated within it, but as you've mentioned already a cage is a bit different to vital suspension parts.

You have "copyright and licenses etc" ?

TBH this is the sort of product I would actually sooner pay over the odds and pay for from a company like Ktec or Demon tweeks etc than off some bloke on a forum who refuses to give any info about them and totally avoids all questions about the make of parts and the guarentee if any and whether any form of liability insurance is held.

I am all for supporting small businesses and I frequently have components fabbed in small quantities, but items like the bottom arm arent the first place I would be looking to start with tubular welded replacements unless I really did totally trust the vender, I cant think of a single more important safety components on the whole car than the bottom arm TBH, and if one of those welds cracks then you lose the strength of the triangulation and the rest are likely to fail sooner afterwards.

i was wanting to know if there was enough interest in the wish bones i have designed,
all feedback is gratfully received, like any new product, testing is on going.

  182/RS2/ Turbo/Mk1
To sum up the feedback back from most of us on this forum who might be interested is please present the product properly to us so we can actually make an informed decision on buying it, in principle I would like to buy something like this, but I need to trust it.

well that may me the case chip, as k-tec is one of the interested parties for the selling rights
