Alpine CDE-9850IR with Ipod connection. Cheap but any good?

I've spotted this Alpine CDE-9850IR on t'ebay but are they any good.

The price looks fantastic but what about the unit itself. I especially like the Ipod connectivity and the fact that it should work with my stalk and display with the relevant adaptors.

That looks well. What is the ipod connection like?
Have you linked it to your display/stalk and what were costs like?

havent linked the screen or satalite as of yet. still working out how to use it but its like playing a cd but its from the ipod. it also charges the ipod aswell.

search is good, takes half a second to load the menu of albums for example but good imo

I had a response from the seller on Ebay. He can do the stalk/dsiplay adaptor for an extra £50. Not bad for around £220.

Just need to get my Ipod working again now and remove dreaded folder error.
