Air con not very hot/cold

Just bought the car about a month ago and the air con doesnt seem to go very cold or very hot, Never had air con before so dont really know how it works, does it just need re-charged or something similar? If so roughly how much?

Mine's the same, needs recharging. Think Renault charge around £60. The likes of Kwik-Fit around £40

Google/yellow pages - find a local air-con company .. usually a mobile one man band. Will be much better qualified than Renault or KwikFit staff as they do it all day long and also keeps the little companies in business !

If im right, hot ac is good for demisting as it takes the moisture out the air
