Aftermarket Handbrake handle

okay so i just bought a Sparco Settanta handbrake handle, i need to get the ordinary one off, how do i do this?

They're glued on iirc.

Checked my spare mechanism earlier and you definitely can't take it off. I wanted to change the button over to the sport one and I have to change the whole mechanism

Thats what I've got, if I cute off the old handle will I be able to put this on?

I'd leave it alone, or you could always get a chrome button if yours doesn't have it ?
Not the Sparco one though, it's chavvy.

You'd probably be the first to do this on the forum so if you really want it you could chop it and see. Otherwise I'd send it back as it will be difficult to sell on eBay/the market

Chi did you fit it? if so you can probably help this chap. The hand brake handle isn't generally removable without demolishing

Damn it because I have the matching gear knob and pedals on the car already haha
