2 years no claims 172

I am 18 with a 2 years no claims bonus and have had my license for one year. I had a years motorbikes no claims which direct accepted for my policy last year. Admiral now class this as two years no claims! what sorta prices are people with 2 years no claims and my sorta age paying? cheers.

well Im in the same boat as you, 2yncb and 18 but i've been trying on a 1.6 Ford Fiesta Zetec S and its been coming back with nothing less than £2100 fully comp.

Is that £862 for a whole year or the remainder of the policy? I think it's a waste spending that much on insurance put that money aside to save up for a deposit on a house. I had a 1.1 until I was 23 then I got my 172 and don't regret not getting a faster car earlier.

my mates got a years no claims and is 19 and hes bought a 172 cup and is paying 1700 tpft! My insurance didnt accept my years no claims on my bike as a years no claims, i didnt think they were transferable anyway?

some companys accept them. It has now transfered into a standard no claims.

At 18yo though I think you'll be looking at £1800+

on a serious note. have you thought of adding you girlfriend or sister on the policy if they have a clean licence.

i used to have an impreza wrx sti which was £1000 tpft(did get stolen-but thats another story)

that was 2 years no claims and i was 21 and had my wife(married young) on the policy( on my own its was around £1800)

its gona cost you a bomb whichever way you do it but if your happy to pay it then fair play to you! i waited until i was older and now pay about 300 quid fully comp! depends how desperate you are to get one i suppose, it's worth bearing in mind that the running costs of clio sports are pretty high

Adrian Flux have always been very expensive for me, this year they wanted £500 for my 182, standard. I am 26 and have 6 yrs no claims!!

£2500 3rd party @ 18 with 0ncb
£1500 fully comp @ 19 with 1yrs ncb
£1000 fully comp @ 20 with 2yrs ncb
£750 fully comp @ 21 with 3yrs ncb now
