Apr 25, 2008 #12 thats the problem when you start driving, you dont have much choice other than have to have a low powered car in order to afford the insurance just stick with the 1.2 until you have atleast 1 years ncb £600 for you first year of driving is quite reasonable, i way payin about £1.5k
