197 performance problem

Hi guys. I am having an issue with my 197, where the car will not accelerate properly sometimes, and is really down on power. I had a fault coder for knock sensor so I changed that anyway, but I've also recently changed the plugs and coils as well as the cam sensor but none of this has cured it. If I turn the engine off and then back on again, it will be ok again for a while. The only other idea I had is the thermostat or coolant temp sensor being buggered and the car running on the cold settings?

Has anyone else come across this and can help?

Is this a drop in power between 2500 and 3000rpm?

If so its normal. And annoying as f**k.

I wish it was just the flat spot because it's annoying but acceptable! This is a loss of power all the way round the rev range
