195/45/16 on 16x7 for track...

Hi guys, reason i ask is that my friends sidewall is pretty much non existing on his eagle F1s after a trackday and he thinks its because his sidewalls have a very slight curve..

I know people use 195/45/16 on here so just wandering if anyone else has expereienced similar ?

that tyre is not good for trackdays
It is overheating too fast

What tyre would you suggest for him then ?

I was under the impression they were..

I preffer Toyo R888 for use on track

But I had also good experience with Toyo T1R, and some older models of Yokohama, AVS I think

If his sidewall is non existant, he needs to put more air in his tyres.

Do a few laps, put a little more psi, do a few laps, put a little more psi. Do this until the scrubbing is just under half the sidewall... should feel spot on.
