19, insurance problems

No ive just used the comparison web sites and direct line, what do you mean specialists?

This is where you're going wrong. Like I said, comparison websites are only good for a general idea, the final quote will be much cheaper if you go direct to the company. A lot of the cheapest companies don't appear on comparison websites either.

Also, if you haven't already, add someone a fair bit older than you to the policy e.g parents, will chop a good bit off the price.

Have a dig about on here, loads of specialist insurers knocking about.

Admiral/Bell/Elephant are all usually good and are all the same company.

sp50, first 3months of driving, got caught doing 96 in my 1.2 clio, since then had a 1.8tdci focus and a fiesta st and havent had any points since!
post code is hu15 1sr

i would of said the speed camera/speed gun was not set up properly.....96mph in a 1.2 clio never lol

my details are: 23, been driving 4 years but as a named driver so no NCB but had no claims or points. (and no im not fronting, my step dad does actually use my car more than me). Modified car insurance premium allowing unlimited cosmetic mods (including lowering / wheels etc) and +10bhp performance mods.

i pay £450 (all mods declared - 182 rep so front/ rear bumpers, skirts. colour coding, exhaust, alloys, lowering, induction kit etc), but it has come to the point where i can get a standard 182 for the same price through tesco so come next renewal time i may change my car.

I am currently with Brentacre, both me & my brother have been with them for 4 years and i cant recommend them enough. they insure both standard and modified cars and as they actually know about cars it helps when declaring mods. rather than calling somewhere from a big firm and you get put through to a call centre where they ride cows to work lol. i would definately recommend getting a quote from them, only restriction is you have to be 19 or older.

i went online btw, to comapre the meerkat, and it was quinn direct or sumthin that gave me my qoute,
