182 cruise control mph slightly out

Used it for first time on my 182 today. Seems slightly out though? Set it to say 70 on the trip computer and the speedometer reads 71/72 ? Same if you set it at 75 or 80, 1 or 2 mph out.

Is this a calibration fault or is this common on other peoples 182 ?

Its the same on mine..i think you will find the cruise control is correct and its the speedo thats out.

yeah its the speedo thats out. it tops out at 123mph in the 172 too!!

all speedos are 1-2 mph out, you are doing 70 though.

Yup, if you see previous speedo threads, youll see that the speedo Over reads.

My Origin b2 is what I go by, so 70 on the b2 = 75 on the 172 speedo.

Yep, my 172s the same.

Does that mean we can leagally pass speed cameras at an indicated 75mph (on the speedo) without being flashed? (75mph indicated = 70mph actual)

Phew - I get that on mine too. I think Ill get the GPS out tonight and measure it properly

Also, does anyone find that they often cant set the speed limiter to 30mph, only 29 or 31mph?
