182 Cat to Manifold join - blowing

Recently had a new exhaust fitted due to the old one being beyond a point of repair.

I've always had a blowing noise I could hear coming from the gear stick area. I had the garage check the connections and the flange mount I've had done between the cat to centre section is fine.

Replaced the gasket from the cat to manifold joint and it seemed to stop most of the blowing for a while but now it's back to it's former self.

Any idea why I'm having so much trouble trying to get it sealed?

I've used both genuine and motor factor gasket kits and it didn't make much difference

Get banksy to do you a decat pipe and then it should be sorted.

the seal is shocking, in the end I changed to a decat pipe and it seemed to work

Well I'm back there on the 1st to see what he can do to make my exhaust louder, sounds pap still.
