172 with k-tec turbo kit

  Clio Sport 172
I have fitted the low boost kit from k-tech, but having problems mapping. It's been on the dyno 3 times already. The problem is mainly in the warm up stage, with hesitation and even stalling. Does anyone have a good GEN90 map file they could send me to test?

You need to speak to

Paul at Rs tuning in Leeds

or

chris (scoff) at efi parts in Runcorn Cheshire

or maybe ktec

it makes it very difficult though due to where you are, but any of the above should be Able to help.

  Trophy Turbo :)
Hello mate.

I suggest checking all sensors I.e cts map and at. Whom are you using to map the gen90? There are a few people who specialise in the ecu s some thing I don't personal like to use but it's all preference.

Drop chris @ efi parts a line
Chip also
Andy Culter knows the ecu like the back of his hand also.

Sending maps just won't work each cars different

if youve come this far on fitting the turbo kit,i personally would book it in with someone to get it done properly, the last thing you want is for it to go bang if its running lean/rich, coming from a few turbo cars myself, mapping is something you dont want to save money on really

It is being done properly on a dyno, but because the warm up is fairly quick it is a very long process. I got a map from ktec as a starting point, but the car was almost undrivable. It's almost there now, but I'm sure it would be alot easier if I had a decent starting point.
