172 Cup Alternator Positive Connector Snapped...

Hi All...

Wondering if you can help..

Took the lad out for a spin this morning and on the way back noticed the Stop / Battery light on..

Stopped at home and took a look and found the Positive lead onto the Alternator has snapped at the terminal. I have snipped the cover back and the remainder of the connector seems VERY connected to the positive wire.

Anyone have this before / had to change the terminal for whatever reason and can give some advice on how to put a new terminal on the end of the alternator positive cable?

very common, cut the shitty bit off, strip it back and fit a new terminal
