172/182 Anti Roll Bar

The 182 has a bigger anti roll bar (24mm)

What size is the 172FF ones ?

And what would an anti roll bar of a bigger diameter do ?

Would it Stiffen up the handling a bit?

  172
-172 has a 22mm one

-stiffens the back end meaning less understeer

-back end becomes more nervous, on a standard 172 could mean lots of oversteer

I think there's more to it than a slightly thicker ARB why the 182 handles better than the 172 imo . I think the wider track and wider , better ( exaltos ) tyres have a fair bit to play in why it handles better .

Ah ok, would the extra 5mm on the hubs and wider tyres honestly make a diff ?

What about on a coilovered 172?
This has got me thinking!
Would a 182 rear ARB fit my PH1 172?
