Tango'd PB 1.2 16V
Well, i've been a member on here since april, and i thought it was about time to get a project thread going.
Got some great ideas and inspiration from everyone on here.
Anyway, i used to have another clio, but a V reg mk2 ph1, but some dizzy cow drove into me near Meadowhall... Ugh. And wouldn't admit liability. (i could have nutted her.)
The remnants of my pride and joy. :dapprove:
She's off to the scrapyard in the sky this week i think.
M3 style mirrors/ph1 rear lights for sale.
£25 £20
+ about 8 postage i think.
Onto bigger and better things.
Next clio - a black mk2 ph2 1.2. 16V '03 plate Dynamique for a modest price of £1450 with a decent mileage of around 42000.
(Biiiig amount of 2's in there. ha.)
Average car with chavvy mods on; Fat back box,
Lexarse lights,
Clear side repeaters,
Silvervisions,
OMP strut brace,
Halfrauds wiper blades (quite possible the most disgusting thing i've ever seen) :dead:
Lowered on god knows what,
3 alloys and a steelie...,
very decent sound system in though, i'll give them that. :rasp:
Had it about 2 days before most of the crap came off...
Sourced a pair of standard headlights from scrap, for a decent £25 sheets. (Some folk are wanting £35 each on eBay.):nono:
Flat wipers went on. (Actually they went on as soon as i got it home.)
I think i may burn the others.
Got rid of my designer arial. Just a bee sting on off eBay. About £3 probably?
Then i did the sound system the other day, which i've not took pictures of yet, but i swapped the front door speakers over, as my old ones were 180W compared to the 105w JBL ones s/he put in before.
Left the rear ones put for now, whilst i get some more FLI ones for the back,
Spliced the wire for the back speakers onto the wire for the 6x9's.
and fitted a Sony GT530UI headunit to run it all off. Cheeky cheeky.
Unsure what to do with that bloody iPod wire.
So thats where i am at the minute.
Future plans -
New Hazard switch.
1*2 rear bumper.
Sport grill
Possibly a front one too?
New front headlights, cause these are buggered up at the top. (someones been wiping them with a brillo pad.)
Colour code strips/handles/most other things.
Put the sport alloys back on, after ive got new tyres and had them refurbed.
Clean the interior up abit, in terms of dash strips/wires/other crap.
De-wiper rear.
Tint rear 3 windows.
Clio Sport interior.
Paint brake drums/diamonds+bullets
+
Any more that get added to the list.
