1.2 16v spark plug socket?

Any tool recommendations? Tried a few motor factors and only one had one but it was £16.

normal deep 14mm socket, and a magnet to pull the plug out

i just stick the plug lead back down and pull it out that way if you dont have a magnet handy!

Laser tools do a special socket designed for the 1.2 16v engine now, Only a cheap thing, but fits perfect and brings the plug out with it

Ordered a sealey tool. Was going to use a long 14mm but I've left that socket set in my brothers car

Sealey tool was too big so bought a 14 deep 3/8 socket and borrowed a wrench. Worked a treat connecting the leads to get them out.

Not fixed the miss firing so onto the coil pack.

dont do component changing as guesswork. Get it plugged in properly, it will save you in the long run. It's most likely a loom fault

Buy 14mm 3/8 drive long socket from Halfords. About a fiver. Roll some blu tac into a sausage and insert it into the square hole in the socket, this will mould round and grab the plug to ease removal.
