1.2 16 engines

Bit of a random post really...but not sure if its just a Renault thing/me being paranoid but do the clio dynamique 1.2 16v engines sound awful when the car is still with the engine running? almost a chugging sound? or could my car need a cambelt change? not sure why but its really annoying me at the moment!

mines pretty quiet at idle. at 3k it sounds like s**t tho, i think ive fucked it tho, as it used to be different lol.

my old one with 140k sounded like a bag of nails, was quick tho my new one with 50k sounds quiet and new but its slower
