Hi all,
Im just at the point of purchasing some coilovers for my clio 182 cup. Just wondered what people recommended for the car, ideally nothing stupidly expensive, but something that should cope with trackdays and the odd hilll climb without dropping to pieces? Ideally adjustable on all 4...
Can't believe they still make them!
They were crackers back in the day. A mate of mine fitted one to his Ford Orion 1.6 (Ghia! ;)). All I remember was the ground shook when he drove past!
Fwiw I remember it being quite easy to fit - I'd be tempted to paint the red or cover it some how...
As per title really,
just wondered if you have to use spacers if you have coilovers on the car, or whether it depends on what coilovers you choose. Basically I'm looking for some for track days / hill climbs.
I'm running a set of 15" speed lines 2118's et37 and hopefully 195-50 tyres on my...
Im guessing the owner works somewhere on Low Lane, perhaps the car dealership. The car is always parked outside my g/f's house! :rasp:
Looks in good condition, well looked after. Obviously cares about the interior as there's snap on seat covers fitted all the time!
Wondered if it was anyone...
I bit the bullet and bought 4 rain sport 2's recently. Peopl rave about them on here. They didn't break the bank and I'm well impressed. Check the search function though, there's lots of good choices out there for various sized pockets rather than starting another tyre thread. Most try...
All being well. Ill ask nicely ;)
Mikes days are very well organised and very enjoyable. He's a top bloke and a genuine enthusiast with his cars. He doesn't let idiots ruin days for others either.
I'll get on it mate. My mate owns and started Apex track days - keep checking the website and ill see what I can do (sensible folks only of course ) :race:
Well I enjoyed my first car meet! It was really good albeit a little brief due to my exhaust! :(
I finally tracked down the last meet I managed to get to after hours of searching the forum: it was the Cow and Calf pub, Ilkley back in June 2010!!! I hope we can meet up there again this...
Gutted! Still coming (its my first meet after all - so i cant miss it!) but not been able to arrange my new exhaust fitting until begining of march :banghead: i'll be chugging along to Maccy D's for a chat and a breakfast wrap but dont think my old zorst will hold on for the drive out...
Hi all,
Just about to buy a new exhaust for my 182CUP and just wondered if there was a definitive guide for the options available to owners? Ive done plenty of searching on the forum but no luck!
Just wondered if the options/favourites were listed somewhere with a rough guide to...
After just buying another CS 182 Cup i intend to take it on some trackdays as well as some hill climbs etc throughout the year. The car currently has a very loud twin exit CAT back s/s exhaust fitted which is very very loud :dapprove: I know it wouldnt be suitable for trackdays and i wouldnt...
