I'm trying to get the brakes sorted on my Trophy as somewhere along the line someone has bled the brakes badly and got air into the ABS pump, if I bleed them with my pressure bleeder they are fine for a month until the ABS/TCS gets activated and then air gets in and the pedal goes soft again...

I guess that does make sense for cruising on the motorway. For a B-road blaster though I'd personally like it to be crisp the whole way through. I wonder if an RS-Tuner map would alter it. At least I know I'm not alone and the car is driving as it should!

Eek! I'll keep the revs low until I know It's all setup okay than.

Brill, I'll definitely get this looked at, I don't think it's miles out as the car runs well and gets reasonable MPG although the response is a little sluggish off the mark and the idle is lumpy.

Thanks guys, I've had an offer of checking the timing from JRS182 who's 10miles up the road from me so I might look at this after Christmas. If the timing is out, can it be changed without taking the old belt off, or are you better off just doing the belt change? Mine is a Cup so no A/C etc.
