No chocolate milkshake or suspect parking to see here...
Sorry for the shameless thread name, but I'm considering a car, I added a post in the 'What is my car worth thread', but not sure how often that is checked... I need to give an answer sharpish and considering, well, what it's worth I...
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
2003 1.5 dCi 80bhp Billabong (no a/c, manual s/r)
3 door originally green, sprayed white (everywhere apart from under bonnet) Black bonnet & roof.
Full OEM RS bodykit & interior (sport rep etc)
93k miles. Some S/H. Cambelt done at 88k. Was sat for 2 years...
Few more of it from last time it was on ebay. As I mentioned there are a few things that I would want to change on it, but it seems like a reasonably nice version, nice being white too.
Can anyone give a rough indication of what they would be happy paying for it? Of course if you were in the...
It's not online... But I found an old ebay advert, from last time it was sold...

Seller is slightly beyond 17, not by a big margin though.
It sounds to be a well looked after model, but I guess you can never tell how it has been driven by looking at pictures and listening to the seller. Belts have been done recently, and there seems to be quite a bit of s/h.
It seems to be...
A/c was on my list of preferences, but this one has nice RS interior, custom paint, coilovers etc etc, saving me lots as I intended to modify it anyway. The only sticking point for me is the blasted air con...
I just don't know if I'd be happy buying a car without it.
Hmm, thanks. I was hoping that it would have it. I've not owned a Clio before, is it as obvious as the being an a/c button near the heater controls?
I've asked the owner to send me a picture so I can get to the bottom of it!!
Morning folks,
I'm interested to know if a 2003 dCi 80 Billabong would have a/c as standard. I've spoken to the owner who didn't seem to know if it did or didn't...
It has a manual sunroof if that helps with the spec, trim level etc.
I like the car but don't know if I could live withour a/c...
I wish I was there, unfortunately not. Got friends dotted around, mainly Durban. Currently in Kenya though, so closer than most of the Poms that'll reply in this thread!!
Enjoy the 197.
I do hope you covered your rather lovely looking driveway with something when you painted your rear drums?!!
Nice looking in white by the way, centre caps look much better in black. And I hope you managed to change the interior trim from red, in my opinion it really didn't do the interior any...
Even if there was absolute NOTHING that you could have done to avoid it, you would still end up blaming yourself, it's human nature when these things happen.
If it only happened this morning, just take it as easy as you can today, try to do nothing as shock may set in at any time. Try not to be...
Really like the exterior pics on this page. Keep the Borbet's, they suit it! Not to everyones taste, granted, but you said your girlfriend wanted something different, that's what she's got!
Oh, one more thing, I like the mod that you've done to the accelerator pedal, try the same with the other...
I've had a bit of a scout around, but can't seem to see any for sale. This isn't a wanted add, as much as a what would one be worth etc?
I wouldn't mind a second engine to play around with, modify, clean up etc, then put in the original car.
Over the couple of months that I've been scouring...
Evenin' all,
Looking at purchasing this head unit, as it seems an all round player, with iPod, bluetooth, dvd's, and Sat Nav included, for a very reasonable price.
I know Meos isn't a well know brand, and I've read some good/bad reviews, but for the price the package seems very good.
What I...
Welcome Calum, and can I just congratulate you on the most awesome sounding surname I've heard for a longtime!
Your dCi looks very tidy, have you modified it or did you buy it like that? There are quite a few dCi's on here, have you seen cliodci.net too, very useful site.
MAybe get yourself a...
Thought I'd put a little post in here, as I'm now a member!
First car club I have ever joined... And I don't even have a Clio (yet!)
I'm actually really impressed with everything about the Club & site so far - top marks to all involved. Thank you!
Congrats on the test pass! Just take it easy out there...
If I were you, I would pop into 2 or 3 different garages and ask them what they think about the clutch, compare what they each say, pick somewhere in the middle and you probably have the right answer!
Enjoy Saturday!
P.s. I still get a strange kick out of seeing 'Artmitage Shanks' no matter how far and wide I travel the world :-) Sorry for turning your post into a discussion of toilets!!
Armitage as in near Rugeley? I grew up there! Haven't been for a whilemind... I used to live on Hood Lane, opposite the vet, with the old police station at the bottom.
