i think its all down to weight, the mk1 was made out of crisp packets, ive had mine for a few years and its still poo of a stick ! but its true what garf says, both are equally the same.....its also down to the driver

this always happened on my mk1 clio (r plate) i had it resealed loads of times then found out that the wet was comign through the aerial stalk ! siliconed it and hey presto, everything was fine......i sold the thing 2 weeks later

i always spot him, actually i nearly crashed into him a few weeks ago ! look out for me, nobody ever spots me ! im in a mk1 silver 172

A car has just drove in to my work with all the characteristics of my mk1 172 everything is the same even down to the interior but instead of saying 2.0 16v on the side it says S. Im confused, is it same as mine or what ?

see......i told you all !!! lol i still get so much enjoyment out of my mk1, even if im driving to the shops....i smile constantly ! good thing is.....a lot of the corsa and nova boys dont know what it is capable of.......until they get behind me or try to overtake !

i think it looks a tad gash.....like you have done it yourself......im not ripping it though cos its your car and if you like it fook what everyone else thinks. one question though......is it my eyes or does the front bumper not line up properly......money back methinks ! keep up the good work !
