Was good to see some other clios, I was blown away with them to be honest :P
Meet was a little early for me, hopefully the photos I got will come out nice. They'll be online at Tyre Wall in a week or so i'm a bit too busy to sort through them just now.
A good meet! Again soon?
Oh I see. That shows the reliability of my car so far (touch wood) since the only thing i've ordered from renault has been a sport grill, funnily enough from Tom @Wests Renault actually!

Wests Renault, my gear stick gaitor in my 1.2 keeps falling out of the centre console, on every gear change. I jam it back in and it holds for a few hours of driving. Do I need a new one, if so can I buy one from you over the phone and collect it tonight? Or is glue the solution...
Im getting some sportlines soon, probably from kam, i'd just like to know why the mk2 1.2 ones are more expensive (142.98) than the "Renault Clio Mk2 (all excl. 1.2) - Eibach Sportline Springs" (128.74) are lots cheaper. Surely a spring is a spring? Many thanks, James.

I don't think I know anyone, unless anyone of the above went to the Essex karting meet late last year? Will be my first meet really, fingers crossed I can get up there in time, as Im finishing work quite late...
+1 on Live For Speed as best.. If they ever release the Sirocco & Rockingham.. Or the whole game itself out of testing it'll be epic.
Can't think of a worst Sim.
Remember toca touring cars, ps1, there were cheats to get the lava track, the pink car and the tank that ACTUALLY shoots out of the...
I didn't mean to come across to suggest anything like that, my apologies if it came across that way. Not referring to karting, just racing in general, was just logically writing that front > mid > back. Proper cars are just as fun, but often slower than proper karts (Unless you go somewhere with...
THE best driver, but usually finishes mid pack? If one was to usually finish first i'd crown him the best driver.
Desparation Duck!! lmfao!!
Vicky you were mega fast on the straights! Was on your tail for a good 5 - 10 laps!
The infield hairpin was the hardest corner on the track. Too tight...
Hey! 1.2 aren't as bad as those karts! I kept up on route to the pub! But you are onto something.. I'm used to the low power :rasp:
It feels as if every bone in both my hands is fractured. And my back has several bruises. All worth it. 50 mins did go fast.
I leaned over under the wheel every...
I am slightly worried about the length of the race to be honest. Got some karting experience so i'll go flat out from lights out to lap 10 then cruise, then a while later i'll find an empty part of the track and earn my fastest lap winnings ;)
Think the best suggestion that's easiest to prepare is someone buy a fat roll of masking tape as Vickyx said & bring a marker.. We'll just stick em on the back of helmets. And if you want to do your own method of recognisation feel free!
Re: Essex Karting meet - Sunday 30th October @ 1pm
I've never raced there either has anyone else?
I might pooch round crashing and spinning and generally driving like a blind pig might in the practice session; then surprise you in the race
Re: Essex Karting meet - Sunday 30th October @ 1pm
Think it's best that we do the wager in cash. Everyone don't forget your £2! On that note.. I might pop down the amusements and change 2 quid up into pennies. That'll be amusing, I shall call it, an Inconvenient Prize.
It's great how...
Re: Essex Karting meet - Sunday 30th October @ 1pm
This is literally a perfect way to put it. Being punted off and can't get back on will unfortunatley inevitably happen! Thankyou.
Chastise.. :') I lol'd.
Okay people so little mini competition list is off:
1.) Jim £2
2.) Goodj £2
3.)...
Re: Essex Karting meet - Sunday 30th October @ 1pm
Okay here's an idea:
Fastest lap prize fund
Only for those that enter - Winner takes all entry fee money
entry fee would be decided
50p
£1
£2
£more
IF the track has an adequate timing system with fastest lap printouts we go ahead and put...
