Ha yes unfortunately there was one small kerbing incident (my first for YEARS booo), they're still beautiful though and I've sold the OEM wheels so there is no chance of me selling them now :P
Hopefully getting a supersprint catback exhaust from KAM Racing later this week or next week, until...
Mine are pretty awful too :( I used Autoglym paint renovator on the worse one once, even that had a surprising effect, don't know if I've got the guts to take sandpaper to them though!
Well, he wanted to give me *alot* less than I paid him, and I like them so why would I do that? ;) to be fair I paid top dollar because I loved them, and I still do so they're worth it... Besides until it's lowered (for those thinking why hasn't she done it yet, I've got a mortgage and enough...
Re: Titanium ph1 on 2110s
Blast from the past this thread...
Sorted out my phase 2 bumper, took it round the Nurburgring, clocked over 120k miles (erk), still rocking the 2110s, still going strong (though needs brakes and a driveshaft... and then lowering >_<) - love love LOVE this car <3
That's three ph1s in Aylesbury that I know of now :D
If there's anything you need a garage to do try Redline in Stoke Mandeville, they both know their stuff and Lui has a ph1 too :)
Everyone's so mean on this forum!!
+1
I like that you've blacked out the side repeater, matches the black trim and wheels. Don't colour code it, otherwise someone might think it's a sport and embarrass you at the lights.
Baaah you got ph1 lights before I got a chance to try and sell you a set :D
They're easy to change (as long as they weren't bodged to the max when the ph2s were fitted), I'm a girl and I managed it :rasp:
Often in those 50mph zones where there are roadworks you are meant to stay in one lane, or as most of us do on a busy road choose the fastest.
I don't know why everyone's having a go at this guy. I'd be devastated and fuming if this happened to me. Van driver sounds like a complete tool, well...
Cup holders? What cup holders? Ph1 has no such luxuries :(
In protest at having to hold the drinks once, my bf attempted to rest a drink on the inside of the glovebox lid, needless to say one corner later he and my passenger side footwell were very wet
I wouldn't recommend fitting alloys and not declaring them, given how many new drivers have accidents (whether at fault or not) you don't want to risk losing your payout if the unthinkable does happen.
Either find an insurance company who won't have a spaz attack over non-std wheels, or as...
My sisters Clio did this when she was learning to drive, bless!
I called Renaut when I bought my car and they said there are no outstanding recalls on it. I do think my bonnet catch looks a little dry though so will probably grease it up regardless ^_^
Or something to do with the fact she already mentioned the dreaded phrase: OH! :rasp:
Welcome to CS, car sounds lully :D
Seriously, who gets upset about the comical sharky replies to welcome threads?!
Looks good, that's some elbow grease you've put into cleaning it! Want to do mine? *flutters eyelashes* :rasp:
Really though, much improved, agree with dual optics comments, and gotta love dads haha! Since I moved out, every time I visit he's like "You've changed it again" heh
They are on the list already ha! When I fitted the silver side strips it made the black handles look SO much worse! :( Also want clear side repeaters, I've already got black and two shades of silver on the side, don't need to add orange to the mix!
No need to apologise, clearly a forum of Clio fans is going to notice the mismatch, as do I to be fair...
However the phone-pic makes it look worse than it is when you actually look at it, and nobody 'in real life' has noticed, so while it would be nice to have it spot on, it's low on my to-do...
Oh sorry :o Yeah it is mint, well worth the investment as getting black flakes all over your hands every time you drive is not ideal!
Thanks HartZ!
As with every car it's very much a work in progress, got a ph2 rear bumper in the garden waiting to be fitted, the car really needs a good polish...
See above, they are Iceberg. They look far better than the black ph1 strips IMO, and are less obviously different IRL. And the sticker, I quite like it! Each to their own :)
