Is the water pump run off the Cambelt or aux belt?

No, had it about 6months. The belts were done by Renault before we bought it, going to check the paperwork in the morning to double check when they were done. Might have a case with them, cos it now throws worry into whether the Cambelt is going to be a worry too.

That's not too sorry then, I wasn't sure if it was going to be a cambelt replace too. Itll no doubt be going to mark fish as he's only 2 miles away so it'll be the easiest place to get the car too.

No it's not done the cambelt luckily, the car still runs ok so that's one relief.

Too make my ongoing bad mood a little worse, my aux belt just decided to let go. Any idea what sort of money it's likely to end up costing me? Don't wanna be brewing over it until Monday.

Ours was meant to be a weekend car, but it gets more use than anything as we both enjoy driving it. Got a second car and a bik that barely get used.

Just a note to say as nice as the recaros are the fabric is very very poor. Mine at 37k was on its 3rd drivers seat, and within 5k was showing signs of wear despite sliding the seat all the way back everytime I got out the car.
