Video is well made, but it just doesn't seem to pull it off, I hate the boot-lid, and would much rather have a standard X and go Rallying round some twisties.
This would be the easiest thing to do but if it's a crack is it not a MOT fail and also could you not get done for it? Thats what I thought anyway.
Thanks for the other replies I'm getting it sorted now.
I am trying to find one at a breakers at the moment, does any-one know of any clio breakers in the north-west? I've rang a couple but no clio's. :(
+ yes I'll be getting a pro to do the swap. Thanks again
Well It kind of does, but i'm more concerned about how easily it turned from a small 20p chip to a 4-5 inch crack after the next small bump, so I think it will just get bigger + bigger if I drive it as usual? Eventually causing a big problem. lol
Hi, managed to get a crack in my windscreen the other night from some douche driver flicking stones up, and it's a good 4-5 inches. I've been told it has to be a new windscreen as chips are fixable but cracks this big are not. Now I'm not fully comp so no windscreen cover, and Autoglass has...
Hi,
My 172 about a 2 weeks ago wouldn't start 2-3 times in the same day, it wouldn't even turn over, just turn key and dead, but battery ect fine, anyway it started with a bump + I shrugged it off because it's french. Fast forward to tonight and it's been working fine since, every time no...
I'll get some more I just took that one to show it for now, it needs polished properly as it's literally just a steel tube, I'll try and get a video too. And yes it's mounted under the bumper don't worry. :rasp:
Yes the wheels are 15" OZ F1's as said.
I bought the seats off D4ve? on here a...
Hi, been on here for a while I just haven't been that active, anyway I've been doing some bits and pieces, fixing and upgrading parts, so some cheeky pictures to show:
New calipers/discs/pads:
New exhaust (more pics when it's polished properly):
It's LOUD! almost unbearable on...
Patience now, lol, never got a fitting kit so I've been waiting for that to turn up, decided to wait until saturday so I can use my mates hydraulic ramps and make the job easier... don't worry once it's on I'll want to show it off so there will be pictures and possibly video. Adam
Fixed, absolutely baffled, took everything off again, gasket seemed fine, wiped it down, put everything back together as I did last time, started it...works fine, engine management still on but presume it will have stored the fault and need reset? but it's fixed itself. lol
Also thanks for the other advice I'll fit it and leave the second sensor out but still connected and if I get a light on as said I can easy take it off and weld another boss in. Thanks for the advice, Adam
Really? so if the second one isn't connected it won't bring a fault code up or something daft?
That's the best news i've had all day! what do you think of yours...loud? I'm expecting so. haha
Hi,
I purchased a Group A Oreca Exhaust the other day with a de-cat pipe and noticed that on my original exhaust has 2 sensors but this only has the one on the de-cat pipe. I wondered what people do with the other sensor when running a de-cat and if it will cause any other problems...
