The one that isn't mine. Did you see mine and decide you wanted one too? Ya jammy b*****d! lmao.
Guess you're on here, Cliosport.net sticker in the rear window, though don't know if that may have been a previous owner?
Hi guys,
Came back to my car yesterday to find one of the exhaust trims errrr, not present. It has/had an aftermarket 3.5" slash tip on the end which I really like/liked the look of. I've been looking for replacements but not entirely sure what I am looking for. I know the outlet pipe to the...
Hi everyone. As above, have a cruise & limiter issue where I get the applicable light on the dash but the controls on the steering wheel just do not work. They didn't stop working out of nowhere, they had been intermittent for a while.
Anyone have any idea what will have caused this and how can...
Dampers done. So last time I drove it, it was on the stock wheels, michelin ps3s, tracking out and dodgy damper.
So now tracking done, wheels and tyres on and damper fixed, my god, it drives so well now. Just so planted. Inspires so much confidence.
As above on Queen's street this afternoon. I gave you the thumbs up, only I was walking past with my step son (had just dropped the car off to have dampers done lol). You looked pretty confused, don't blame you!
Got new tyres (RS2s) + wheels (15" ultraleggera et 37)fitted, but the setup works out slightly bigger than the 16"s, so on the corner where the damper has failed the arch is eating the tyre. Because of all this I haven't driven it properly yet :( damper gets replaced tomorrow though.
What...
Will probably be going here http://finishingmatterslimited.co.uk/ I've changed my mind though, and will be going gold instead :D
Getting delivered tomorrow. Cannot wait!
Was trying to decide between cams (421s) or lightweight wheels today, then I realised it's good practice to change the belts at the same time, but mine were done less than 3 years ago. So I ordered some new wheels. 15" OZ Ultraleggeras. Going to get them powder coated in orange before I put them...
Over the last week:
New ABS sensor
2 new Michelin PS3s
Full service (sparks, brake fluid, oil fluid, air filter etc etc)
New exhaust lambda sensor
Realigned headlights
Reclipped CV boot
Cleaned inside and out.
New headlight washer pump
MOT
New battery, low voltage is messing with cruise control.
New pads, 80% worn all round.
Scuff on bumper
Headlights need polishing
Door edge needs touching up
Bonnet needs big ass chip repaired
... and I just had £500 worth of work done!
Got it washed and vaccumed, topped up oil, changed wipers.
Too bad they did a less than great job with the cleaning, despite paying extra for the wheels, there is still plenty of brake dust left and wipe marks on the bodywork. Did well on the interior though. New wipers FTW, I always forget...
A reg something like that. You were on Queen street heading towards Stevenage way, I was going in the opposite direction, saw you coming away from the lights at the bottom of Windmill Hill, you didn't see me though.
You must work in the store (I work for Tesco too, just not at Baldock) as you were there for hours, but yeah couldn't resist parking next to you. Spotted your CS.net tax disc holder, then looked for mine in my car and couldn't find it... then looked in your car and saw how clean it was (as well...
HAHA Suprised that wasn't me! Been pulled 6 times in 6 months round here. The cops are nice enough if you show them respect (they all had reason to pull me).
So I've recently put my car on Cooksport springs, well I did it half and half, I did the rears, went to do the fronts and didn't realise I'd need an impact hammer and penetrating oil, so I ended up doing it 5 weeks later (didn't get a weekend off until then). The car drove fine while just the...
Thanks guys, both sides of the car were jacked up, interestingly I think the previous owner tried to bodge a lowering job as the cups at the top of the struts were jammed In to the top coil of the springs!
Ended up having to compress the springs using a breaker bar and a jack (compressors...
I know, incorrect section but I need help urgently. Fitting new springs in the 182, fitted new springs on the front dampers but now the dampers will not fit back onto the car. They are simply too long, the CV joint gets I'm the way. Any idea what's going on?! No mentio of this happening in the...
Or, sell the clio and use the 4K cams and ITBs to buy a new car with. That'd give you 8k, probably give you something faster than a 182 on ITBs and Cams...
Looking at doing the same myself (itbs) but you can get some interesting machinery at that money (boxsters etc)
Shouldn't make any difference, unless you're mapped for 99 RON. I run it because the car is mapped for 98 and it's pretty close :p I haven't seen any difference between it and the old V-power.
I doubt that mate. I haven't been able to give her a proper going over in months! (and now I feel guilty). Surprised I haven't seen you around before.
BTW, the ITBs, they worth it? I'm kinda thinking about it.
