Hi all went to start my Clio this morning and it wouldn't start. It is turning over fine and the fule pump is working. After a cupel of try's it did start any ideas what could be wrong as I go on holiday in it at weekend cheers all.

Hi all, bit of boring thread but for some reason my stereo won't tune into any stations. It's just a standard stereo on my ph2 172. So any help would be great cheers all.

K tech do a 182 stile exhaust for the 172 go on there website and have a look mate.

Hi all. Got a starting problem,every now and again it won't start it turns over and I can here the fule pump working. After a minute or two it then starts and it runs fine as I said it's only doing it now and then. So if anyone has had this prob and could help me out please. Cheers all.

hi all, on my way home from work today i noticed my left headlight is pointing up in the air. anyone no what the prob is cheers.

looks like u had a fun day out mate. i got a 172 in the same colour keeping mine standerd aswell. where did u go on your little road trip.

the top of my gearstick has fell to bits has this happend to anyone else. and does anyone no where i can get a new one from, can i get one from renult i have looked all over and cant find one. cheers all

i think it looks mint mate just make sure you dont cram that much in it that it starts to effect the perfrormance,i live in stalybridge near ashton u lyne so might seeu at some meets in the summer.

w*****s find out who did it and tar them, if your not confident trying to get it off yourself then take it 2 a spray shop or body shop see what they can do. why would anyone think doing that to your car is fun it makes my blood boil mate.hope you get it sorted.

hi mate welcome to cs. The car looks mint in the pics. had mine for 6 months its a ff not a cup but had no probs with it. They are top cars i love mine. Just make sure The belts av been done if not get some cash off as it can be from 300 to 500 quid depending on where u take it.

what bhp do u get from your 172. has it got any mods

i looked at a few cups before i got my 172 ff all the cups i looked at had been hammered. rips in seats different tyres on every wheel but that 1 looks ok from the pic but so did some i looked at. go see it take it for a spin.

thanks for the help just walk 2 work now. but i pick the misses up most nites and its about a 6 mile trip and its alot better now. went away at weeekend and it was doing 49 mpg but thanks for the help. just cant wait for summer so can go for some good drives :rasp:

yeh the s1 is mint had a s2 running 220 bhp with about 22 psi it was a reliable drive 2 would still have it if i had a garage to keep it in top cars mate

yeh i no now. just walk to work now only use the car at nite and it back up to 30 mpg. only been driving the 1 mile becase iam getting over a footy injury and its cold in manchester haha thanks for help all ;)

yeh reset the computer etc i walk it only started driving since it started to get cold. i do let it warm up before i set off tho didnt think it would do the car any probs tbh. or will it i do pick the gf up after work so prob drive about 7 at nite.

hi there i am only getting 26 mpg out of my 172. i only drive 1mile to work and then the same home through a quite village. could the short journy time be the reason for this. dont drive it hard save that for weekend;) oh and i use v power petrol. thanks for any help.

hi all i no of the prob of the steering wheel grips melting. but the knob on my 172 ff is worn. has this happened to anyone else,and if so what have you done about it. does the whole gear stick need changing ? been on e bay ect but dont seem to be getting anywhere. dont fancy going to renault to...

yeh its fine mate. i spent ages and money trying to sort it its judt the way they are. a guy moved in next door and he has got a 182 and that ticks ova like s**t same as my 172 just live with mate
