Hi, I've bought some 40mm lowering springs for my clio 172, and have had a few quotes around £120 for fitting them with vat at a garage.... (Seemed a bit steep to me) I was just wondering if anyone knows anyone in Cheshire that would be able to fit them for me, or any garages in the area?!

How much would a genuine renault backbox be worth for a Phase 1 172, it looks in good condition, but not sure of the age of it. Went through M.O.T. with no problems. Cheers

I'd imagine it would be a lot of work to get it back on the road. Offers on it as a whole, although there is a fella coming over tomorrow to look at the interior.

The insurance haven't come out to see it yet, not sure if they do when it's third party? PM me if your interested in some parts and I'll let you know what condition they're in.

It was me and 2 passengers, we all got out fine, albeit very shaken up and all of us complaining of bad backs and necks and I had a few cuts from the drivers side window that smashed. Went to hospital shortly after and we were all diagnosed with just pulled and bruised muscles. No broken bones...

On Thursday night, I overtook a morrisons lorry that was doing 40, then came bk in and back end slipped out (seemed slippy, possibly ice or mud) then straight through a hedge, a metal gate and 2 posts that were concreted in the ground. Extremely gutted, as was only covered TPFT, as insurance...

It's screeching on full lock, also when cold any considerable movement of the steering wheel.

I need to replace my Aux belt on my X reg 2.0 Clio, went into Renault and they say there's 4 different part numbers for it :S Does anyone know the part number I would need? As I think it's rubbed off my belt already :( Cheers.

Haha I love my Ph1 172 :). I'll try not to do either of those haha. I've got a new video with it's new Powerflow Backbox in. (Don't take the p*** about how much it moves around, my brackets and middle section are completely nailed.) MZg3wrLCtSw

I've got a Ph1 172, and the driver's side mirror cover has come off. Will one off a Ph2 172 or 182 fit in order to replace it? Cheers.
