Just picked up a Fabia splitter for the grand old sum of £13.97
They were in stock at the Skoda garage I pass every now and again, would've been rude not to at that price.
Anyway I have searched the forum and have a question I don't know/ can't find the answer to.
I've looked under my...
The welded bracket on my 182 original back box has broken off, and the exhaust is pretty much on its last legs. Theres really not much point trying to weld to rust :-(
MOT is looming in a few weeks so after searching a fair bit I have whittled it down to two.
1. Scorpion SNR019 with centre...
Spotted on Sunday in the car park
I was in my RB182 Cup and the mrs noticed your number plate and said thats like something I should have (OCD)
I was just popping in for a new wash mitt.
Broken near side spring on the front.
Renault want £110 each for genuine Cup springs. (!)
I had a search and saw that someone reckons they are about £45 each.
I'm not after lowering the front at all, so genuine or oem would be preferred.
What do you guys think?
Garage down town quoted me £110...
A lot of people mention the phrase "fried egg look" when talking about indicators on 'older' cars.
We've kept the 182 Cup seriously standard since buying it four years ago.
Hoping that when the time comes for it to move on, someone will be happy to put their hand in their pocket for a mint...
Parked opposite sides of the pumps, didn't get much chance to speak as they didn't turn my pump on for ages...
Anyone off here - I was in my RB 182 Cup
182 Cup is over 9 years old now, and passed its MOT with no advisories earlier this week.
I've enjoyed a bit more detailing just recently and it was all detox'd and Carpro Hydro2'd on Monday. Nice product.
The engine bay has never been cleaned, so yesterday I got round, finally, to giving it a...
Made a few different footrests for the Twingo and the Clio.
Saves the carpet getting worn where the cars dont usually have a standard footrest next to the clutch.

And a couple of spares I did for a couple...
Mrs's 2005 Clio 182 Cup has had a few bits of routine maintenance and repairs done to it during the past year.
Pleased to say it went into my local Honda Dealer today and passed its MOT without any problems.
A big thanks to MICK @ DIAMOND MOTORS for his tireless help over the bank holiday...
Bought a pair of H7 Osram Nightbreaker Plus dipped headlight bulbs for my 182 Cup last week off Amazon
£ 11 delivered which I couldnt grumble at :approve:
Fitted them yesterday, as old n/s bulb had expired.
Took me 5 mins to do the n/s bulb and 15 mins to do the drivers side as I found it...
Ive just bought my son (10yo) a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7" (for Christmas)
In order to keep tabs on what hes buying and how much hes spending I was thinking of going down the Amazon AppStore route and just buying Gift Cards for him to redeem when he needs more ££
Instead of me having a colossal...
Followed you for a few hundred yards yesterday around 2pm (ish) from Meden Vale as I was heading toward Mansfield Woodhouse.
Looked very very nice - tempted to have a look on Autotrader for one of these now!
Like the cup spoiler
Driving down the high street past Morrisons archway and Santander, near the old Woolworths
I was walking so made the most of the exhaust ;)
Dont know who it was or what exhaust but it did sound a bit fruity alright.
Need to get the battery out of the car and test it for capacity before buying a new one (tried charging with an optimate but still not enough juice to keep the lights on)
Is there any detriment to removing it for a couple of days??
The immobiliser light is still flashing - wont bugger up this...
Been away in the 182 all week on holiday.
Not missed a beat really, drove the 2 hours back and parked it away for the night.
Got the car out this morning, mrs went out for a spin, 60-mile round trip and parked back up in the sun, half on the pavement outside the house, as we were going to have...
Mrs was driving the RB182 earlier today, saw someone parked at the lights coming towards her on London Road.
When they set off and noticed the RB182, gave a big smile and waved. :)
Mrs was chuffed - she loves the Clio and now understands why I've been like this for the past 5 years or so with...
Pulled in front of me this morning around 0730, heading onto A1 North
I was behind you flashing in my RS133 Twingo Gordini :D
You indicated back to acknowledge, just wondering if you're on here.
Seems anyone I ever see doesnt go on any forums :dapprove:
....oh and no one ever spots me. :(
Sat in the lay-by on the A617 Rainworth by-pass
Owner just about to get back in the car as I was driving up the dual carriageway, looked at my car coming from a distance so I papped a few times on the horn :D
Owner waved back, so I'm just wondering which forum he frequents.
Reg plate started...
Spotted you coming round the corner off the caunton to hockerton lane around 6pm tonight
I was the one who flashed you in a Twingo RS133 gordini with stripes :D
Spotted you on Sunday coming towards Hykeham roundabout past the LEXUS garage.
I was coming in the opposite direction bizarrely enough in a silver Honda Civic Type R (EP3)
I forgot I wasnt in my RB182 and gave you a flash of the headlights to which you waved back!!! :D:D
Anyone off here??
Gave you a burst of two flashes going past the Monson Arms pub as you were heading to Tritton road and you acknowledged back, cool
I was in a racing blue 182 Cup :D
Anyone on here?
Took car into my Honda dealer on Saturday am to get some work priced up from them.
They said it was booked in for the MOT too!!!
I had been told by Renault that work needed doing so had 3 weeks to get it done before the current MOT expired, this was the reason for the visit.
Left it with...
I had this diagnosed for replacement during the Renault free 25-point check.
Everyone else who I have mentioned it has asked what part do they mean???
Can anyone shed any light on this, they say it has a small amount of play in it and have quoted £144 for replacement.
