Just wondering if they change pulleys and tensioners on these when changing aux belt as Evo magazine say that it should be done everytime on these and if they dont, it can be very expensive. I.e Cam belt off aswell.

I have just picked up my 2002 172 from a 36k service and found that they couldnt change my aux belt due to a cracked pulley. I think this will be expensive!!! I rang Renault specialist in Nottingham and they told me that I had to buy alternator and pulley as one part. Is this correct? Also they...

Had a stealth powerflow exhaust fitted yesterday and the guy who fitted it made it as quiet at possible. Problem is that it is'nt!!!Growls at low revs and barks at 4000rpm. Do they need running in? will it get quieter?

Can you not run a lead from the output of your existing head unit?£3.99 from Maplins.(3.5mm to twin phono lead).

Oh no!! Just drove back down motorway and car sounded very loud and throaty. Got home to have a look, and exhaust is hanging off!! Whats best to do. Buy a renault replacement, or go stainless steel? What will each cost? Anyone recommend a system? not to rude boy though!!
