Need a new computer. Fed up of crashey Windows Xp. Anyone gine from a pc to a Mac? Anything you miss? Are the files incompatable from Windows to Mac?

Depends what you're needs are?

If you're fed up of XP just install Linux on your PC, job done, and it's free.

If XP is crashing on regular basis, then its probably got nothing to do with XP. Probably a hardware/software issue - or your PC is overheating.

XP doesn't just BSOD pointlessly, if you make a note of the error code and google it you will normally find a wealth of information.

XP is plenty stable enough.

MAC`s are a cool gimick but im not sure the percieved stability is more important than the mindblowing games you get on PC`s

vital business tool for media people im guessing there not important really though drawing/shopping images isnt exaclty hardcore, i dont see our Hospital blade Servers running mac OS.
