I was lucky enough to have my friend Dean do a shoot on my V6 this weekend in the New Forest before she goes into storage for the winter months. The results speak for themselves- boys got skills!! Check out the rest of his stuff at www.deanphoto.co.uk
Rear rigged rolling...
Got a warped front disk on my Vee which is chiming away and getting very annoying and was not picked up by a certain well known garage when serviced. Does anyone have any after-market disks on their Vee? Standard ones are very expensive.
Cheers
Are the coils the same on both Mk1 and Mk2. Also I heard Peugeot one's fit and are a bit cheaper? Does anyone do them cheaper than Renault- was thinking GSF car parts might?
My reverse lights are not working I noticed the other day. Not had chance to investigate yet but thinking it might be a sensor or something as they are both out.
Any ideas anyone?
Anyone got theirs working. Just been to my local ICE speciliast and they said if its the later setup (which it looks like) it needs the Peugeot van module which is about £100! They did say if it was the slightly older version then it would be the £30 jobby. They also said I would not be able to...
Just wondering what people are running with the limited space in there Vee's. Not wanting anything to blow the windows out just a decent quality balanced sounds for when I am not listening to the Vee. Just put my Alpince head-unit and iPod in today. Was thinking about some components and maybe...
After recently selling my 172- I'm looking into Vee ownership. How do people find them cost-wise to run? Are they that much more than a 172? It will only be used at weekends and not on a daily basis.
Cheers

Trophy going round at a serious pace. Impressed a lot of the Skylines I was with as it went past. Personalised plate beginning V1 I think.
Also a silver 53 plate.
I have got a de-cat for my Ph1 172. Problem is its got a single Lambda sensor and my car has the big fat cat with dual sensors.
The guy I bought it off on here said he had a hole drilled in his exhaust for the second lambda. Would it not be better to drill a hole in my de-cat as I am less...
I have a 2001 Y reg 172 (Ph1) and I am buying a De-cat from a member of here. He has e-mailed me saying that his car has one sensor on the cat and one on the exhaust. I am aware there are different cats fitted to the Mk1's- anyone got any idea what mine will be? I would look at the car but its...
had a droning noise coming from my 172 for a while and I'm pretty sure its the wheel bearing. Had Renault quote me about £260 to fix. Just wondered if anyone has attempted it themselves and how difficult it is?? The part is much cheaper from GSF.
Got a droning noise coming from my 172, quite like a wind noise. Its at higher rolling speeds but doesn't seem to be throttle related so I'm thinking its prob a wheel bearing? Any ideas?
My Phase 1 172 makes a rattle/shudder from the manifold about 1500-2500 revs. Worst when cold- not so noticeable when warmer. Anybody had similar problems? I have had a look and can't see anything obvious loose or cracked.
Had my Ph1 172 since June and it has a Clifford Concept 600 with Proximity on it. Since the weather has got a bit colder and wetter in the last week or so it seems to have developed random outbursts of the proximity buzz even though nothing is near it. Anyone else had this problem?
When I bought my car a couple of months back it had a Powerflow exhaust on it that it has had about 4 years. It was banging a bit, then I lowered it on Apex springs and it has been banging like hell. Had a look at it and it did not follow the exhaust lin e over the rear axle as it should and had...
Put a post up about this a little while back. Basically my throttle cable sticks sometimes when I come down through the gears meaning it idles high (bout 1-2000rpm) which can be combatted by hooking the throttle pedal back up or blipping the throttle.
I have done a search on here and found...
Just bought some Ph2 lights as some of u may be aware off a member on here. He has not given me the bulb holders and they don't connect with my Ph-Quick ones. he claims they are easy to butcher to fit- anyone tried this?
Saw a Ph1 172 yesterdaay when I popped in in the car park. Meshed front bumper and Grill, New style Oz Super T's, B&M Quickshift, and some kinda red and black alcantara Renault Sport interior I'm guessing must be from a Meggy Sport?
Anyone of here?
When I drop down gears in my 172 the throttle cable seems to be sticking and its over-revving.It normally sticks somewhere between 1000-2000 RPM. Its easily rectified by poking my foot under the throttle pedal. I reckon it must be the throttle cable has perished because I had a similar problem...
My Ph-quick 172 has a Powerflow exhaust and it has been banging on the rear torsion bar. 5 know this is a common problem and had it with my Valver and Corsa Sport before that. I took it to a generic exhaust place and got the guy to lift it and put a new U bbracket on it for me but it still bangs...
Put a deposit down on a silver Ph1 172 on Monday. Seems an absolute minter- can't wait to pick it up. Can people post up pics of nice silver Ph1 172's please for inspiration. Although I don't really wanna do much to it its likely to get Ph2 rear lights, colour coding, and decked maybe on some...
Nice red 172 on turinis at the A3 crossroads at Hindhead yesterday. Rear tints and Cliosport stickers. Looked very nice. I was going the opposite direction in my Valver.
