My ABS rings and gaitor have come away from where it should be resulting in me needing a new driveshaft.

Well,my 172 went into K-TEC 2day and it turns out that i need a new driveshaft. The ABS part on the drive shaft has broken off and that is what i can feel on the pedal when braking.

Do you feel anything on the brake pedal? I'm having the same problem on my 172 but also feel the pedal vibrating. It's going into K-tec racing on friday for a check over.

Hi all. Joined today. I own a RS Clio 172. Bought in sep 2003 and love it.

The 8mm will be fine (i have these on my 172 and they are better then standard Renault leads). Go for the 8.5mm if you have a lot of engine mods. The NGK plugs are probably better (i also use these) and they are good plugs.

I had the exact same problem with my 172. Had to take it to Renault to have the keys reprogrammed/reregistered with the car. Can't remeber how much it cost but it didn't break the bank.
