Hi mate. Ive been charging £150 to paint someone's lid. Bearing in mind its an hours prep, 6-8 hours painting, hours lacquering and buffing and about £30-40 of materials, I think thats reasonable. :-)
Thanks folks. Dug out an old Caberg lid I used for commuting (the black one).
Got it this far so far but undecided on what to put on the back. Beyween a pinup girl or an Apocalypse Now type scene with some helicopters and stuff?
Great, thanks folks. Been airbrushing for a few months now so still have looooads to learn but making progress. Hope you like! Started a facebook page (Foz's Airbrush Projects) if any of you are into that kind of thing. :-)
Agreed, mate! Genuinely looking forward to people's views that have had both and gone back to a Clio. Im sure there are plenty of pros and cons and no doubt some I havent thought about yet.

Hi Lee. Didn't cost too much as I already had the materials. It's not difficult, just takes a lot of time and patience to flat it back sufficiently. I don't have masses of Coachworks experience, so it's still a challenge to
Me, especially as most of it was done by hand!
