Re: iPhone "must have" apps?

Can't see it in the app store? Does that price include the dock? Not that I'm going to buy, co-pilot sounds better value..

No that price does not include the dock. It is a bit expensive in comparison to Co-Pilot.

Peggle is fantastic.

iFooty+ and Sky Sports Centre App's did well for me over the weekend with the footy scores and vidiprinter. Very impressive.

Re: iPhone "must have" apps?

iFooty+ wasn't very good at updating the Celtic score over the weekend, hopefully it'll improve.

Re: iPhone "must have" apps?

Nope - costs £100... Expensive much?

Seriously? £100 for the damn dock?? WTF?!?!?!

How can they even charge £59.99 for the software, they arent providing any hardware! You can get a new Tomtom One for £49.99 nowdays with software and hardware and a free update FFS!!

Stupid greedy fothermuckers!!! Not happy with Tomtom what a kick in the crotch!

Re: iPhone "must have" apps?

OUCH £60 for software and £100 for the dock. Not to mention the Software does not even do the advanced lane guidance like the newer Tom Tom's. Makro have non-widescreen for £99.99 + VAT and £115.00 + VAT for Widescreen which DOES do this.

£60 is only for UK/IRL if you want parts of Europe thats another £80 please sir. So basically you are looking at £240 for it.

b****cks to that RIP OFF! Will stick with standalone Tom Tom!

Re: iPhone "must have" apps?

lol at people screaming like kids about TomTom.

Who cares? There's plenty of alternatives, and if they want to price themselves out of the market, let them.

Re: iPhone "must have" apps?

Have TT confirmed the dock will be £100? I'll be surprised if it costs anywhere near that amount.

If you want European mapping I think you'd buy that for £79.99 and not but the UK version and the Euro version.

No one will buy it when copilot is £26

Not screaming like a kid. Just seems daft. I guess gimps will still buy it. The fact that they can get away with it just shows a lot of iPose users have more money than sense or a credit card ;)

Re: iPhone "must have" apps?

I imagine a lot will still buy it because it's the most well known name in sat nav. I'm more than happy with copilot. If you're running it on a jailbroken phone, you can download poi's and cameralocations from pocketgpsworld.

Re: iPhone "must have" apps?

If companies supply the usual for a sales package, i.e. laptop, phone, car, satnav . . . I think they will see it as a easy option.

Re: iPhone "must have" apps?

Isn't it easier and cheaper just printing off the directions from Mapquest and following them? :clown:

Re: iPhone "must have" apps?

Yeah I thought the same thing. A complete and utter waste of space.
