Quick Question: Whats the difference between expression and dynamique?

  Astra SRi T
dynamique has; 15inch alloys, rear spoiler ,front sports seats, silver dash inserts and silver inserts around the dials, nicer inside , red needles on the speedo, rev counter etc.., front fog lights, it just looks more sporty than the expression .

on the 1.4 and 1.6 think it has stiffer suspension

Beat me to it:rolleyes:

al

  ST on the way...
Time delayed dimming interior light <-- The most important part.
Temperature Sensor
Automatic lights and Wipers
Electric/Heated Mirrors
Electric Windows
CD Player
Headrests in the Back

Dynamique can have Climate Control and Electric Sunroof too :D

  Clio 2001 1.5 DCi
Im confused, my clio is an expression (its on the papers and is engraved on the inside of the glovebox) yet it features 80% of the things everyone has said.

It didnt have a cd player, or the silver inserts but everything else everyone has said my car has got

If it helps I have a 1.5 DCi (Y reg, but the phase 2 model)

  BMW M135i
Is it an expression+ ?
Most of the other things can be added to the expression as options, the only things that are exclusive to the dynamique are the single colour interior, sports seats, suspension, steering, red needle dials, alloys, and the spoiler.

And the authentique is the poverty spec model, usually the 1.2 8v and it doesn't even come with the in dash display, i'd only have a dynamique or dynamique+ but then i'm a gadget *****.

It goes in order iirc:
Authentique
Expression
Dynamique
Privilege
Intiale ("Luxury Model" has leather and all sorts, would have one but they only do a 5dr)

  BMW M135i
Theres and expression+ and a dynamqiue+ as far as I know, just adds a few extra things to it. My old 1.2 was a dynamique+ and it had climate and lumbar support on the drivers seat, my current 1.6 is only a dynamique and has neither which is a pitty 'cos I miss climate.

expression is the poverty spec of the clio

*runs away*

No the poverty spec is the Authentique with the 1.2 60BHP 8v unit and not much else.

Time delayed dimming interior light <-- The most important part. YES
Temperature Sensor YES
Automatic lights and Wipers
Electric/Heated Mirrors YES
Electric Windows YES
CD Player YES
Headrests in the Back YES

Dynamique can have Climate Control and Electric Sunroof too :D

Mines an expression.

Dynamiques have 15.7 more bhp IIRC.

Lol, the 1.2 75HP 16v unit is in both the expression and the dynamique, the Authentique is the one with 60HP.
Oh and if you look in the back of the Renault brochure the Expressions on steel wheels are quicker to 60 than the Dynamiques on alloys :rasp:

Bring it on buddy.

IMO you have more chance of f**king the pope than you do beating me.

My 1.2 is a DCi80 eater as was proven today. I kid you not.

Be scared.

Argh don't bail out on me now buddy!

Edde - got that immobiliser fixed - the fuses and relays (the yellow things near the fuses) just needed a clean. I am also shocked you didn't respond to my claims of being on a par with a DCi80!

Lol, I don't drive fast unless I know the roads.

Your right on that front. If I keep mine for another year I will be stripping it and sticking in bucket seats, or a full RS interior.
However, im leaning towards the idea of selling it for a phquick.
I didn't intend to buy an expression, but for what I paid I will make £500, had a years free motoring and put 10k miles on it.

nothing wrong with an expression, thats what ive got lol.

less is more, auto wipers and auto lights are for gays, thats why renault brought out the 172 cup ;)

mine has no optional extras and came with the electric/heated mirrors, time delay interior light, rear speakers, split rear bench with head rests as standard, its not as poverty spec as everyone makes out, it just doesnt have the sports bits (alloys, spoiler, front fogs etc) and has the crap interior (mine has full dynamique interior.

On a more serious note Michael...

I know you slate 1.2s but they are incredibly good fun and if you drive it correctly in the twisties (where all the fun is to be had) they are not too shabby at all.

  Shed.
dont hate them. I was giving it some welly this evening. Wasnt fun atall tbh, in fact, i was thinking just how piss poor it was. Then on some nights i can be wellying it back from the moviews down straights on a slight uphill road and itll pull incredibly well and thats with my GF in the car.

Dont drive fast through twisties mate.Guess im too much of a fag.
