WHAAAAAAT?? :)
Without having to bargain hunt and seak bits from different sources, sort out mapping and fitment, it's ideal for the mechanically retarded such as myself :)

  Clio Williams & 182
Jenvey's ftw, however the AT's look really nice but I have yet to see proven power claims.

  182cup & 172 racecar
As you may be aware me and Tony Hunter are racing this season in the Classic Sports Car Club's Tintops series.

Many, Many months of work have gone into building the car from a bare shell. Loads of unforseen problems have been overcome and yesterday the car hit the rollers at Tour-De-Force again for its final calibration session.

Paul at RSTuning had supplied us a set of AT Power direct to head throttle bodies and a carbon airbox.

After 2 previous attempts to finish the ecu mapping, lots of bad luck, things breaking, loom problems, throttle linkage problems (caused by using the rubbish stock cable) , It turned out to be 3rd time lucky, although the car did try its best to defeat us yet again.

We arrived just after lunch and got the car into the Tour-De-Force dyno cell.

Final figures of 198.5bhp and 168lbf of tourqe was a great result. 200bhp and 170lbf would of been nice but with a dead alternator and running on 95RON fuel we were not far off.

Not bad for a totaly stock engine.

A HUGE thanks to Matt at Tour-De-Force Power Engineering for his hard work, late nights and massive patience.

Thanks also to Paul at RSTuning and John at AT Power.

not bad results there mate.

but.......tbh....id be spending that little bit more, and going the charged route tbh....247 bhp at the wheels after a decent mapping ....finally....canny remember torque figs. again, with all internals standard.

We probably would of looked into S/C but were not alowed forced induction in our race series so ITB was the only route for us.

It has to reinforced how dedicated matt is to doing a good job, i was down last saturday, matt turned up just before ten, we aranged to start at ten, i was there early as got over excited on the motorway.

i then found out he had done an all nighter at brands hatch rebuilding a lotus, to then hop straight on the dyno and cal my car.

man is mega clever and dedicated to doing a job 110%, you may even call it OCD.

i cant hammer home the awesomeness of TDF you have to experience his skillz yourself.

his talks of putting a room above the dyno to do work in im sure is a cover story for a bedroom lol

first time i went down car was on rollers for over 11 hours.

he just wasnt happy till it was right.

i have the jenvey throttle bodies on mine with a standalone ecu on it , all fitted and mapped for around £2000 all in maybe a tad more , not a bad price i thought ... will post up when i get the car back from place to give a description of the job done , the place that is doing it is a throttle bodie specialist companie , thats all they mainly deal with

  RS RIP
Short trumpets ? no cutting up the slampanel ? Radiator ?

f**king great price but i'm guessing there are restrictions because of these mentioned ?

fair enough mate....but comment was aimed mainly at OP. sticking to regs can be a pain tho sometimes lol.

FBW has nothing to do with Type approval, and in this case is not a problem.

there is no point cost wise trying to achieve this as the conversion is complex for the gains, the cost for the pedal conversion is negligible in comparison.

this is the only reason we dont include in the kit

if you wish to do this it can be done as a cost option and a custom job.

our ecu is able to do cruise, FBW, traction etc, depending on application

Our DTH kit will be £2531 supplied and fitted, including the GEN90 ecu. This will also be tested on the dyno.

David.

Any chance you know when this will be available and what exactly it includes? (e.g. does it include the cable throttle set up/remap etc). Just over £2400 with CS discount then :D
