So the adventure with "Crap Car" continues.
Brake pads replaced, new renault dog bone fitted then an enquiry into the dodgy wiring connected to the renault stereo harness...
A quick peek reveals a loom that feeds off the radio Red & Black cables, and off the Hazard light switch, plus also the central locking button on the dash. Following this back, the loom splits off to 2 Ultra-sonic sensors on the pillars. Then through the bulk-head to a renault marked alarm siren.
Only one issue though, the wiring to the Ultrasonic sensors runs down the door seal, up the side of the passenger door. Into the pillar cover, then across the roof liner to the other ultrasonic sensor.. Crap..
A few hours later, all loomed in nice and looking pretty. Just a shame they wired it into the radio harness, and not into the fuse box/direct to the battery/chassis.
What are these extra wires that are not connected to?
These wires sticking out of the taped harness next to the airbag.. (brown/yellow/grey)
