Do you think they will find a new file host? They put a post on the home page regarding just that.

Even if they do, thats a lot of uploading needed to get anywhere near what they had.

You could use another host, but it would take months to reconstruct that amount of data. I'm assuming they have a plan. I've heard Dropbox being banded about but they will probably suspend users.

Oh my days :( . My atv is now essentially pointless.
Well not as such, but a massive use I had for it now is :(

Its almost as if XBMC forum knew it was coming, literally only took the thread on IF down last week..

Just been on the site, they have had a mega clear out. All megaupload stuff has gone and they have moved onto 2shared, what is left is a tiny percentage of what they did have.

Through the IF addon, are there many shows left?

I think they'll get back new stuff like Dexter or whatever but the very first episodes of old old old things aren't going to be back for a while.

As long as they keep new films etc, then that'll do me fine.

Are you referring to IF Gman?
Just installed the Navi-X addon. Bit confusing but some content on there.

Yes I was mate, i'll have a look at that one later. Cheers

Through the website and no lol

Agreed, everything is user uploaded anyway so new stuff will appear first, it will just take time.

Navi-x is clearly written by someone who uses Linux what a load of s**t.

Haha, I still don't really get it.

So far I've worked out:
Navi-Xtreme Media Portal > Most-viewed 24 hour / 7 days > then click one of the folders that comes up and just have a look through them..

Although half of the films I've tried don't appear to do anything. Other than that don't really get it!?

Netflix is alright. Watch Seven Pounds. Though the content seems really disappointing.

I've just been messing around with Navi X. Seems ok, just not user friendly.

Everything I've tried works.

Got one of them working earlier. Got to about 1 minutes in, froze, then just quit back to the source screen.
I hate it when it does that, I get it quite often, not just on IF.

I've started using NaviX instead. Watched New Girl ep1-7 over the last few nights, but tonight it gave up and wouldn't play ep8-10 :(

Seems ok, nowhere near as good as IF though (layout).

I've worked out Navi-X I think. You can just do a search, and it comes up with all the playlists with the title of the thing you've searched in.
Only thing I miss about IF is the popular/highly rated lists. Most of the time I don't know what I want to watch, so just looked for something from there.

Pretty sure when you go on IF, when you click on a title, they've just added more sources, which now include the rapidshare ones.

Mines really frustrating at the moment. I can't remember the last time I watched something streamed over, where it didn't either pause and just quit halfway through, or buffer every two mins, or freeze, or something. No matter what I'm using, On IF, Navi-X, TVcatchup, 4od. :( .

Yea cheers. I changed the advancedsettings.xtml a while back. Seemed to cure it. But since getting Navi X its doing it again.
Am I right in thinking the 2shared sources still don't work on ATV? Still getting the "working" pop up then nothing..

A while back I made a file "advancedsetting.xml" in word and saved it as an .xml and copied it into the Preferences > XBMC > user data a while back with the following:

<advancedsettings>
<network>
<cachemembuffersize>0</cachemembuffersize>
</network>
</advancedsettings>

This is quoted from the XBMC Wiki
http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Advancedsettings.xml#.3Cnetwork.3E
<network>
<autodetectpingtime>30</autodetectpingtime> <!-- Length in seconds between pinging the network to detect new xbox's -->
<curlclienttimeout>10</curlclienttimeout> <!-- Timeout in seconds for libcurl (http/ftp) connections -->
<curllowspeedtime>5</curllowspeedtime> <!-- Time in seconds for libcurl to consider a connection lowspeed -->
<httpproxyusername></httpproxyusername> <!-- username for Basic Proxy Authentication -->
<httpproxypassword></httpproxypassword> <!-- password for Basic Proxy Authentication -->
<cachemembuffersize>5242880</cachemembuffersize> <!-- number of bytes used for buffering streams ahead in memory
XBMC will not buffer ahead more than this. WARNING: for the bytes set here, XBMC will consume 3x the amount of RAM -->
</network>

What value have people put in there?

Oh. People on the XBMC forum seemed to reckon that meant there was no limit to the buffer size.
You don't know what value to put in there do you?

Its not skipping, just pauses, then quits. Or plays about 2 minutes, then buffers for ages again.
