The dogbone is knocking through lower gears on de-acceleration and this is something I'm going to address in the new year.
Could that be the reason then Alex? As the mounts are brand new.
Hi there,
Searched a number of things but can't find what I'm looking for.
I had a piper system put on the 182 a a couple weeks back and after it's first clean today it's been hitting the bumper outlets and scratching the top of the tailpipes.
It sits perfectly and has all new mounts, it...
Sorry mate after seeing a few of your other posts you seem a very knowledgable guy so you couldn't explain this for me please?
These we're the readings after I went back again. It was tracking fine until a few days ago and now it's started pulling left again after about 200miles.
Is there...
Hi there,
I sent my 182 in for the above last night to be set to manufactures spec but it's come out with the steering wheel slightly of centre (right) with the car pulling to the left?
Is this correct?
Thanks in advance
Hi Guys,
Just found this on Kam Racing
http://www.kamracing.co.uk/universal/exhaust-accessories/kam-racing-lambda-sleeve-m18.html
Sounds like a good product to stop the engine management light but has anyone had any experience of these?
Thanks in advance!
Just bought a set for my 182 after seeing great feedback from the Rainsport 2's on the forum and reading the review of them here: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/Uniroyal-Rainsport-3-Launched.htm
£320 fitted, too smooth to comment yet but has anyone else got them?! If so what do you think...
piper exhaust is fantastic, some what pushed aside on the forums but it gets great feedback, do a search! and it's only £400 on demon-tweeks ATM (£480+RRP)
the piper system hardly gets talked about on here or even recognised, shame because I find it a great exhaust! easy to fit, looks and sounds brilliant, lightweight and you get a choice of tailpipes. oh and it's only £400 on demon-tweeks ATM (£480+ RRP)
Hi there,
I've searched various threads but with no definitive answer. Both my CV joints are knackered however I've been told you need complete driveshafts to replace them? I've read that some people have managed to change the joint itself so could anyone send me a web link or phone number to...
Hi there,
I've done some digging around on the forums and found a few different posts. My question is can you still buy CV joints and change the worn ones instead of having to buy new driveshafts? Or is it better just to by the shafts of renparts?
Thanks in advance
Hi guys, forgive me if this is posted in the wrong area? Also I have read many other similar threads however can't find an answer to my question..
Will turning off ESP on my 182 make any real difference in the dry when I fancy a little tear? In terms of handling, throttle response etc etc...
Thanks for all your support guys! Cars now in with Andy @ engine dynamics. Slightly out of pocket though due to recovery costs that I mis read on the quote. All new belts and dephaser pulley being fitted and now considering a new clutch possibly? As I'm only going to have to pay for parts I may...
Hi guys, I popped down there earlier and just put it on him with all my service documents, other mechanics opinions, citizens advice etc etc. At this point he hadn't even checked if the engine had gone however I also mentioned the quote I received from engine dynamics for fitting another engine...
