He builds them for people but made the first one for himself until people started asking him to make em for themselves. He has made 17 in total (although some where supplied as kits and not fully made), there are 6 road legal in the UK, 2 road legal in Germany (2 also in Germany but only used on...
Did a photo shoot with a guy who builds his own F1 style kit cars and we needed to put the videographer in the back seat, so the airbox came off and went into the back of the Clio!
And one of the car with my cameras...
Found the problem, the radiator had come loose and rubbed against the pipe causing a split pipe. The parthas a 10-day wait so it was been bodged with a similar sized pipe until I can get my hands on another one. They tightened up the radiator and all Cost £40 incl. Labour. It does actually run...
Never had a sensor there, if there should be one, it hasn't made much difference since owning it from 2010! Have removed the cable tie and tightened the jubilee clip, it's mad a tiny bit of difference but will try and get it to the garage as soon as I can.
The silver fastner thingy, should there be one on either side of pipe? Or just at the top? It might not be it but it was loose and at the bottom. The top has been secured with a cable tie oh and the tape is as there was a split there (trying to temporarily problem solve!!)
This basically describes it, and it has lost all 'performance' it simply drives now, the hiss is like an added sound effect lol
I'll get it up on my ramps on sunday and have a look :)
Pardon the noob comment, but would that just need a new hose or a whole new turbo?
And, no I haven't been to Dingle tunnel but think it's on the cards later in the year as I know someone who knows the person with the keys. Hardly do anything nowadays anyway, mainly stuff in Gibraltar or work on...
Hello,
I have been doing a lot of miles in my new job, a lot involves getting to places as quick (and as safe) as possible. This has resulted in many things my local garage has fixed but now I have got no boost (1.5 DCi 80) when accelerating, just normal acceleration. But I do get a hissing...
Clio went in to check on brakes/coolant leak/whistling wheel and the call back came with a list of stuff!
New brakes - discs and pads, front anti roll bar links rubbers dropped out, PSF calliper sticking, rear shock absorbors leaking, slight water leak in the radiator (which they will plug for...
Not sure if you remember my Christmas post but I had a major leak (which turned out to be the central scuttle pipe) which filled my drivers side with water.
I initially cleared half a bucket of water.
I asked on here how to dry the carpet out and most advice was to remove the seats etc but as...
So I need to get my windscreen replaced due to a crack but my rain sensor is pretty much cemented on as it never worked very well.
Mine has the part number 8200063060B but I have seen the same part number with letters A and C, do the letters matter? As some are twice, if not 3 times as cheaper...
How easy does the carpet come up? do you have to remove the seat?
I have a feeling it's the middle one, just a b*****d I can't get to it and there is heavy rain predicted before I get the wiper removal tool!
Got 4 crystal dehumidifiers at the moment, trying to problem find/fix before I dry...
So my clio (DCi 80) filled up with an indoor swimming pool the other day, I managed to scoop out half a bucket from the drivers side front and back foot wells as with the under seat well.
Today I took both wheels off to access the bottom of the scuttle drains fully expecting to see a pipe...
I have been driving (normally, 1.5 dci 80) and my engine sounds like it is over revving but the rev counter appear normal, there is a muffled revving sound coming from the engine and it does feel slightly off but drives okay.
Any ideas? Would ideally like to catch the problem sooner before it...
Hi, I am not in Devon but have done a wedding in Barnstaple before, I have mates I can usually stay with in Chepstow so it breaks up the journey a bit.
Check out my website here...

Yes he was at the reception. Although I think the idea was to drive from the park back to the hotel and drop the car off and get a taxi to the reception. I think the groom was more annoyed as he didn't get to drive it! The bride was driven a good 20 miles there (albeit in the rain!).
Thanks for...
So I was photographing a wedding and was doing the couple photographs when we returned to find out the brides father had left with the wedding car! (Triumph TR3).
So instead of them getting a taxi, Clio came to the rescue! Only managed to get a few quick snaps as it wasn't really the intended...
That snigger bit wasn't intended as a joke lol :D Like that someone got the Father Ted bit though!
Yeah, before I received it, I thought it was going to be very one sided too, but there were bits I really couldn't pass off and brush over.
I was after the Kodak Pixpro AZ651 Astro Zoom bridge camera (65x optical zoom, 24mm - 1560mm) for that extra reach and also use for low level pictures my Nikon DSLR's can't do. I was annoyed to hear that even though Dixons had stock of them, they weren't releasing it until September, so I talked...
After accidentally leaving my car unlocked overnight and some lucky f****r steal the contents of my car (but leave the radio and not damage anything, or look in the boot!) I decided to fix a travel safe in to protect stuff I used to leave in the glove box.
I got a good one from ebay but cost...
I use 2 cameras, have had a double sling from HK for just under a year, cost me about £9.00 and have just bought another of the same make a tad cheaper from here (first ones back velcro needed replacing)...
