Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project Long shot but fuel filter? My car used to cut out on round abouts and stuff especially on low fuel and some times with half a tank or more. Worth a look id have thought and its notheing big to check on Mk1's.

Yeah thats what i thought, when i started it up, the belt was going up and down like mad, and didnt look good! Ill try and get another pully and stuff and ill take it apart when i get the time. Strange thing is it hasnt snaped a belt in about 4 months

They dont half come well equiped as well, electric windows, centeral locking, semi bucket seats (still in good condition no rips) alloys wheels and rev counter etc. Only down side i can see it the paints faded and the handbrake sticks a bit. Mechanicly spot on and only 59k. Just need time to get...

For the princly sum of £50!! All it needs is a good service to get it back on the road! It runs fine and it dont half shift for a little car!

The best replacement is the parada. Ive been told that they are better than 539's in the wet as they have a better tyre pattern to get rid of the water. Might be looking for some instead of my Kuhmos anytime soon

Finaly got my lowering springs and got them on the car today! (student life isnt all work!) I didnt notice till then there was sutch a diference between the diesel springs and the lowering ones! Think it looks a lot better now, once i get the rear down on wednesday itll be looking...

Good news! At last i have my lowering springs! Ill get em on this weekend hopefully, should look a lot better!
