Im thinking there is something wrong with the cable from the handbrake lever to the bracket where it splits to two.. i think i might cut it and put a new one in place

right an update, Last weekend i adjusted the drums up and the handbrake was still a bit high.. so i got back from base last night and had a look at it.. ive whipped the drums back off and they are adjusted up fine... although i notice the handbrake lever thats attached to the shoes doesnt...

is thisa common issue then?soooo about this adjuster.....

Hey all... missus car was locking up the rear passenger wheel... when i went and removed the drum the lining of the shoes had come off the mount, the cyclinder is leaking so im replacing that at the same time, my only concern is adjusting of the shoes... How do i go about adjusting the...

so i dont need to drain off all the fluid before i remove the sensor???

Ok, Missus car has a fluid leak which i have traced to be the power steering leaking.. If you stick your head under the engine bay lying from so your feet are at the bumper and your head towards the sump to the right of the sump just above the subframe is a sensor of some sort running off...

I have a 1.2 x reg clio and whenever you try and park, on anything on full lock the car cuts out, it runs fine any other time, but as soon as you put it into a lock in either direction the car starts to struggle as soon as you try to move it. Any ideas please buddys Dicky

nah its neither of them! i no wot both of them sound like! wheel bearing makes a droning noise! mine is more hi pitched!!

where on the car do u fill the gearbox oil? cos i have a leak under the car and its a nice rich yellow oil! im assumin its the box oil cos my engine oil is pretty sh*tty

nah dusnt change note when i change direction! i seem 2 think it comes from passanger side of car! tried 2 trace the noise but the engines 2 loud lol

its not a belt slippin kinda noise! more of a revolving whine, than a slippin belt squeek

ive got a clio rt, j reg! wen it hits about 3k revs it starts squeeking really bad! if i take it thro the gear up to 5k the note of the squeek changes but is louder its only recently its occured, but it doesnt squeek wen i rev it from engine bay,it will only squeek at standstill if it hits the...

wen i had my corsa nicked they took the alloys and put steelies on her!put 2 bolts in each wheel! i didnt notice till i drove it 10miles home that they only had 2 in each wheel! quite scary actually
