ok, im a vw boy, always have been, but a mate of mine in work is looking at putting a cone filter on his car. Ive just been looking at pics online of his engine and am a lil bit stumped.

he says theres a cold air feed running from the front of the engine bay past the tb into the piece at the back, then that u bend hose runs from there into the tb...
is this right, and is his airbox that small plastic piece near the bulkhead??Reason i ask is the odd design
