Youtube app on iphone 3gs

Hey chaps, i have a iphone 3gs

On the youtube app that comes as standard on the iphone, is there anyway of updating the app so i can share a video link via text or post on facebook etc??

When you're watching a vid, the slider with the volume/skip bit on, there's a box with an arrow coming out of it.

Press that, then you can send it places

(This might not be on yours as I have iOS 5 which isn't out til Sept, so you might just have to wait a few months)
