Ultra Red Megane 175
Here's my take on an unforgettable few days in the Sardinian sunshine. The event had just about everything a Rally photographer could wish for - sun, scenery, watersplashes, big jumps, dust, big crowds. We had the added bonus of staying at a secluded campsite on the north coast, where we basically had a stunning white sand beach to ourselves every evening. The water was absolutely crystal clear (if a bit chilly on the old willy); but it was the perfect place to relax with a couple of Peronis after the long days thrashing around the Sardinian mountains!
The event also marked the return of Mini to the WRC, and with Kris Meeke right on the pace from the word go it was an encouraging start. I've read a few people calling the car ugly, but when you see it, and more importantly hear it on the stages it's a different story.
