Providing you could get a loom made up, could this work? Is an Omex 600 a generic ecu just mapped to the individual car?


How much would it cost to have a loom made up and install a cable throttle?

It could be a cheap alternative to what k-tec charge 2k for.

Yes, you will need a loom, you can buy a semi built one for around £75 quid and make it your self, then fit and then get it mapped.

Loom will be around £250 to have made to your car id estimate if youdidnt want to do it your self.

He means its a lot of work for very little gain, unless your planning on doing more mods that require the Omex mate

Yeah, I am toying with the idea of ITB's, so the ecu and loom from ebay is £700, plus the cost of getting the loom made to measure. Far cheaper than 2k from K-tec. Then I just need to sort out some bodies.

No I didn't realise they did anything for the Clio, I know they are big in the 106/saxo world.

Do you know of anyone having fitted an Emerald?
