Worth upgrading mounts - and if so, which ones?

Hi guys,

Which of the mounts on a 182 are worth upgrading? Dogbone for tighter shift?

I've no idea which are worth it.

The dogbone mount and the upper gearbox ones are the most common to fail. Although the upper gearbox one may be ok but the stud that secures the mount to the gearbox may be loose, well it was on mine. You have to take the mount off and refit the stud tightly then refit the mount.

Is it worth doing even if the old ones still have life in them?

Some people have trouble selecting gears or chattreing gearboxes during fast acceleration and usually the mounts are to blame and worth changing them. If you are not having problems leave them alone.
